Our Story
At HairTec Barbershop & Salon, we are more than just a beauty space—we are a community rooted in legacy and empowerment. Founded over a decade ago by my uncle, our salon has always been a hub for connection, giving back through donations and support for local organizations. After his untimely passing during the COVID-19 pandemic, I took on the responsibility of preserving his vision by rescuing the building from foreclosure and investing $70,000 in renovations to revitalize this cherished space.
Today, HairTec thrives with a passionate and talented team dedicated to delivering exceptional services. Our team includes an Operations Manager who ensures smooth day-to-day operations, a skilled cosmetologist, five diverse hairstylists, and a nail stylist who collectively cater to a wide range of beauty needs. Together, we provide a welcoming and empowering environment for both clients and beauty professionals.
As the owner, I am deeply committed to honoring my uncle’s legacy by fostering growth, creativity, and a sense of community within our salon. At HairTec, we aim to make a lasting impact, one client and one professional at a time.

Job Purpose
We are looking for Barbers, Hair Stylists, Braiders, Locticians, Nail Technicians and Lash Technicians who are faith driven, great communicators, highly responsible, numbers driven, clean, and respectful. As well as all of these attributes, we are looking for people who recognize they’re influential in the community and the impact they are making within the community and city. Having an existing clientele is greatly preferred.
